Alviro Petersen, a former Proteas cricketer, played for South Africa in all formats from 2006 to 2013, amassing 24,153 runs with 55 centuries and 113 half-centuries in 557 professional games. He captained several teams, including Northern Titans and South Africa A. Highlights of his career include being the third South African to score a century on Test debut, holding numerous first-class records, and batting on all five days of a Test match. He also set a world record with four consecutive one-day centuries in 2015. Recently, he has played for the South Africa Legends team in the World Series in India.
